Members of the public are being invited to the Annual General Meeting of NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group (ELR CCG), the organisation responsible for planning and commissioning local healthcare services.
The Annual General Meeting will provide attendees with an opportunity to find out about plans for local healthcare services.
The event takes place at Stamford Court in Oadby on Tuesday 26 September. Members of the public are invited to attend from 2pm, when an exhibition will commence, with displays from local health and social care organisations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their experiences of local healthcare services.
The formal presentations will take place from 4pm to 6pm. Members of the public will be able to ask questions.
Karen English, Managing Director of ELR CCG, said: “Our Annual General Meeting is a great opportunity for members of the public, patients and carers to come along and find out more about our plans for healthcare in East Leicestershire and Rutland.
“We’ll be updating people on our successes and challenges over the past year and outlining how we plan to meet the future needs of patients in East Leicestershire and Rutland with the budget that is available to us.”
