Members of the public are being invited to find out about how the local NHS has been performing by attending East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group’s (ELR CCG) Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM will provide attendees with an opportunity to celebrate ELR CCG’s key successes during 2017/18 as well as hear about challenges faced during this time. The meeting will also enable attendees to find out about plans for local healthcare services and will set out priorities for the forthcoming year.
The event takes place at Stamford Court in Oadby on Tuesday 11 September 2018. The meeting will begin at 9.30am with an informative presentation, followed by a questions and answer session, when members of the public will be able to ask questions and speak directly with clinicians and commissioners. The meeting is expected to end at 10.15am.
Karen English, Managing Director of ELR CCG, said: “ELR CCG wants to talk to its communities about how it has been performing and hear from them about the health issues that are important to them.
“The CCG is committed to engaging with local people and the AGM provides a great opportunity to do this. I encourage members of the public, including patients and carers to attend.”
Members of the public should register their attendance and submit any questions they’d like to ask before Friday 7 September via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephoning the CCG Communications team on 0116 295 3405.
The address for the event is: The Shearsby Room, Stamford Court, 18 Manor Road, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 2LH.
