The Collaborative Commissioning Board is a formal joint committee of the three Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Groups. It makes decisions on matters that relate to all three CCGs.
The Commissioning Committee is responsible for the strategic commissioning decisions across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).
In September 2020, the Governing Bodies refreshed the collaborative governance arrangements. As a result the Collaborative Commissioning Committee was disestablished and a new Commissioning Committee has been established as a joint committee of NHS Leicester City CCG, NHS West Leicestershire CCG and NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG, collectively referred to as the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Groups (LLR CCGs).
The Commissioning Committee meeting is held on a monthly basis. Members of the public are welcome to join and observe the business of the meetings held in public. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the start of the meetings in relation to items on the agenda. As currently we are unable to hold the meetings in person at a specified venue, the meetings will take place online. Details of how to join the public meeting will be made available on our website each month.
The inaugural meeting of the Commissioning Committee (CC) will be held on Thursday 19 November 2020 and there will be a short meeting in public . As we are unable to hold the meeting in person at a specified venue, we are holding the meeting by other means, for example via teleconferencing. If you would like to join please email: enquiries@EastLeicestershireandRutlandccg.nhs.uk by Thursday 19 November 2020 by 10:00am.
