NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group is overseen by a Governing Body. You can find out more about our members and our meetings here.
The Governing Body of NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group meets regularly during the year and our meetings are held in public. This means members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the business of the meeting and will also have the opportunity to ask questions at the start of the meeting about items on the agenda.
The three Clinical Commissioning Groups across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) have agreed to hold Governing Body meetings in common on a bi-monthly basis during 2020 in order to make strategic decisions that affect the whole population across LLR. The meetings held in common with the Governing Bodies of both NHS Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group will also be held in public.
The CCG is holding a short public Board meeting on Tuesday 16 June 2020. As we are unable to hold the meeting in person we are holding the meeting by other means, for example via teleconferencing. If you would like to join please email: enquiries@EastLeicestershireandRutlandccg.nhs.uk by midday on Monday 15 June 2020.
If you have any questions relating to items on the agenda, on this occasion please email your question(s) to enquiries@EastLeicestershireandRutlandccg.nhs.uk by 9:00am on Monday 15 June 2020 and we will aim to raise the questions during the meeting if possible and reply to you within a week or so following the meeting.
All regular enquiries can be raised with the CCG by contacting us here.
The latest CCG Governing Body papers can be found here.
Members of the public joined us for our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 10 September 2019, in the Council Chamber at County Hall.
Attendees had the opportunity to hear first-hand from commissioners and GPs, the highlights of the year and what the CCG has in store for local healthcare services in line with its priorities for the forthcoming year. We also shared details of some of the local, national and financial challenges the local NHS faces and how the CCG will continue to work with communities to deliver health services that meet the needs of the local population.
We’ll be sharing questions and answers from the event here shortly. In the meantime, please take a look at the event presentation.
If you have any questions, please email them to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Communications team on 0116 2953405 (Monday to Friday).
