Our governing body

NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group is overseen by a Governing Body. You can find out more about our members and our meetings here.

Governing Body Meetings

The three Clinical Commissioning Groups across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) have agreed to hold Governing Body meetings in common on a bi-monthly basis in order to make strategic decisions that affect the whole population across LLR.

The meetings are held in public. This means members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the business of the meeting and will also have the opportunity to ask questions at the start of the meeting about items on the agenda.

Papers for our meetings in 2021 can be found by following the link – 2021 Governing Body meetings

Annual General Meeting

Members of the public joined us for our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 10 September 2019, in the Council Chamber at County Hall.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear first-hand from commissioners and GPs, the highlights of the year and what the CCG has in store for local healthcare services in line with its priorities for the forthcoming year. We also shared details of some of the local, national and financial challenges the local NHS faces and how the CCG will continue to work with communities to deliver health services that meet the needs of the local population.

We’ll be sharing questions and answers from the event here shortly. In the meantime, please take a look at the event presentation.

If you have any questions, please email them to: communications@eastleicestershireandrutlandccg.nhs.uk or call the Communications team on 0116 2953405 (Monday to Friday).
