Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act came in to force on 1st January 2005. The aim of this act is to encourage greater openness in the information held by public authorities. The NHS will disclose information under this act unless it falls under one of the exemptions.
- Personal information about patients and staff
- Commercially sensitive information
- Information relating to criminal proceedings
- A full list of these exemptions can be found at https://ico.org.uk/
How do I make a request for information?
A request for information can be made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 by emailing us at: llrccgs.enquiries@.nhs.net or by writing to our corporate governance team at:
NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG
Leicestershire County Council
Room G30, Pen Lloyd Building
County Hall, Glenfield
The three Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) Clinical Commissioning Groups are working collaboratively. If you are planning to submit the same request to one or more of the LLR CCGs, please note you will automatically receive an LLR response. Therefore you do not need to duplicate the same request to the other CCGs.
