People were asked to share their views on a new dementia strategy for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The consultation closed on Friday 22 June.
The dementia strategy, which has been developed by NHS organisations and councils, sets out the support available for people who are affected by dementia.
It also outlines a number of aims to help minimise the impact of dementia for people who have it, their families and their carers.
These include helping GPs to support people with dementia by using a standard guide, speeding up the diagnosis process and ensuring that services are high-quality, good value and providing equal access to all.
Other aims include helping create more dementia-friendly communities, developing training for care homes and strengthening links with other working groups, particularly around care for people who are approaching the end of their lives.
The new strategy will come into effect in 2019 and will run until 2022.
